To best understand the effects that PTSD has had on you or your loved one, we highly recommend that you receive a PTSD assessment on site or with your doctor.

There are many ways in which others can develop PTSD. The effects of PTSD can be very overwhelming and challenging, however with support and self acceptance, the effects of PTSD may be minimized.

What does PTSD look like?
Some individuals may be able to handle their PTSD symptoms more than others. PTSD can cause flashbacks, nightmares, irritable moods, mood swings, and distrust in others or situations. Triggers can occur that remind others of traumas that they have experienced. Triggers can consist of people, places and things. Its important not to minimize someones traumas as it may be very detrimental to their health.
Those whom suffer from PTSD have support systems that are available including individual counseling, group counseling as well as psychiatrical services.
